 David B. Wiley, DMD
Dr. Wiley is a lifelong Oregonian and is proud to have a community-based dental practice in NW Portland. Born and raised in Salem, Dr. Wiley then completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Denver and received his doctorate in dentistry in 1992 from Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Wiley was accepted to a post-doctorate residency at the OHSU Medical School and earned a certificate in Hospital Dentistry, providing dentistry for medically compromised patients. He practiced dentistry for two years at the American Embassy Dental Clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal before starting his private practice in Portland in 1996. Throughout Dr. Wiley's career, he has participated in numerous courses and study clubs pertaining to dental techniques, materials, cosmetic dentistry, and the advancements in implant dentistry. Dr. Wiley continues a post-doctorate mini-residency program during the last 11 years which provides exceptional training in implant dentistry. He has been voted by his peers as one of “Portland’s Best Dentists” in Portland magazine for multiple years running. Dr. Wiley has been a competitive tennis player and coach for most of his life. He also enjoys biking, skiing, and a full range of outdoor pursuits. He and his wife enjoy the time they have with their two college-age boys. |
